Christian Music Stars and American Idol Alumni Come to the Kansas Star Casino Grandstand
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three-time Grammy nominee and Dove Award-winning artist Danny Gokey will be joined by fellow American Idol alum and chart-topping Christian artist Colton Dixon at the 2026 Kansas State Fair. The duo will take the stage at the Kansas Star Casino Grandstand on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:30 PM. Opening the night will be WallerCo, a family band on a mission to bring faith, marriage and legacy to life through music.
Gokey first captured national attention as a Top 3 finalist on Season Eight of American Idol, quickly building a devoted fan base. Since then, he has become one of contemporary Christian music’s most impactful artists, earning multiple No. 1 albums and chart-topping singles, including “Haven’t Seen It Yet,” “Hope in Front of Me,” “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again,” and “Love God Love People.” His catalog includes several RIAA Gold-certified hits, and he has surpassed 1.2 billion career streams worldwide.
Known for blending uplifting lyrics with a dynamic pop and soul-influenced sound, Gokey has seen success across multiple charts in the United States and Canada, while also expanding into Latin markets with Spanish-language singles and collaborations. Colton Dixon has built a powerful career of his own as a Gold-certified, award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Track Party Pit – Standing
Get up close to the stage! The Track Party Pit area gives concertgoers the opportunity to be on the floor, standing right in front of the stage. Each ticket is $50.
VIP Deck – Standing
Want the ultimate VIP treatment? This ticket package includes access to the VIP Deck area, two drink tickets embedded in your lanyard, complimentary appetizers available from 6–7 PM within the VIP Deck area, and early entrance to the Grandstand. Each VIP Standing ticket is $75.
VIP Deck – Reserved Table
Get all your friends together with the VIP experience! Reserve a table on our VIP Deck to enjoy the show from a private table that seats six. In addition to a reserved table for six, this package provides two drink tickets per person embedded in each guest’s lanyard, complimentary appetizers available from 6–7 PM within the VIP Deck area, and early entrance to the Grandstand. Each VIP Reserved Table is $415.
