Garden City, Kan. – The Bethany Swedes Men’s team travelled out west to compete in their season finale of the season. The Swedes would show a great performance over the 72 hole event which would result in a second place finish.
The Swedes were lead by Aiden Lynch who would have a great last tournament of the season. He finished tied for 3rd individually. Aiden would shoot rounds of 77, 73, 71 and a final round of 69 for a total of 2 over for the tournament.
Mads Hasenschwadtner and Luke Tate would finished tied for 10 place. Both would finish the tournament at 10 over total. Mads contributed with a massive 71 on Monday afternoon. Luke had a great round Monday morning shooting 71 as well. Will Briggs would finish at 23rd at a total of 16 over. Will had a great last round shooting 72 ending his collegiate career with back-to-back birdies. Taylor Hardin would round up the result for the Swedes finishing in 32nd place. Taylor would help the team with his round Monday morning as well as Tuesday.
Overall, it was a great last tournament of the season for the Swedes ending in a good result to close out the season. Great to cap off the careers for our three seniors Will Briggs, Mads Hasenschwandtner, and Luke Tate. Extremely proud of this group and their contributions to this program in their years here.
