Lindsborg Community Hospital, in partnership with the University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, will host a Brain Health Day on Wednesday, May 6, offering free memory screenings to the community. The event is designed to raise awareness about cognitive health and provide individuals with an opportunity to take a proactive approach to their memory care.

The screenings will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment at LCH. Individuals interested in scheduling a screening should call 785-227-3371 and ask for Kolby (Ext. 620). Approximately seven one-hour appointment slots are available.

LCH and the KU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center maintain an ongoing partnership focused on expanding access to specialized care in the region. As part of this collaboration, a social worker from the center visits LCH monthly to meet with patients and provide support, education and resources for individuals and families.

Brain Health Day aims to connect with individuals who may have concerns about memory, thinking skills or overall cognitive wellness. Through these free screenings, participants can gain valuable insight and, if needed, be guided toward additional evaluation or support services. Early detection and intervention can play a critical role in managing cognitive changes and improving quality of life.

The event reflects LCH’s continued commitment to promoting proactive brain health and connecting community members with specialized care and resources. For more information, contact the Family Health Care Clinic at 785-227-3371 or visit lindsborghospital.org.
