The Kansas State High School Activities Association has selected 35 students for a $2,000 True Blue Scholarship from the association and the Capito Federal Foundation, made payable to a two-year or four-year accredited college, university or technical school in the name of the selected student.

“Kansas schools are filled with outstanding students who excel in the classroom, in competition and performance, and in the community” Executive Director Bill Faflick said. “It is an honor to recognize students from across the state. We are pleased to partner with the Capitol Federal Foundation® to honor these outstanding students as they graduate and pursue continued excellence in their post-secondary endeavors.”

Two of this year’s recipients are from Chanute High School, including Ella Guernsey in girls’ tennis and Kiley Dillow in girls wrestling.

To be eligible, students must be seniors in good standing with their school, graduating from a member school of the Kansas State High School Activities Association during the 2025-26 school year and have rostered in the chosen activity their senior year.

True Blue Scholarship recipients were selected by a panel of educators and stakeholders who support the mission of KSHSAA. Selection criteria include community service, academic achievement, activity achievement, and breadth of school activity participation.
