The Second candidate for Superintendent of Schools in McPherson USD 418 has ties to the district and to McPherson County.
Dr Cody Rierson is currently superintendent of Moundridge USD 423, where he’s been since 2001. Before taking the Moundridge position Dr. Rierson, a 2005 graduate of McPherson College, served as principal of Lincoln Elementary School in McPherson.
There will be a meet and greet for Dr. Rierson this afternoon from 4-5 at the Central Office at 514 North Main, after which he will have his interview with the USD 418 Board of Education.
Last week the Board interviewed current Assistant Superintendent Ty Rhodes, and a third finalist will be interviewed Friday.
