The Buhler High School boys tennis team placed second at the eight-team Hutchinson Tennis Tournament Thursday at the Kansas State Fairgrounds courts.
Maize placed first with 36 points, followed by Buhler 28, Hutchinson B 22, Dodge City 19, Newton 13, Salina South 13, Hutchinson Trinity 10 and Garden City 7.
Buhler also placed sixth out of 11 teams in Saturday’s Doug Gayer Classic in McPherson. The format was an open draw for 22 players.
