The Buhler High School varsity boys golf team placed fifth with a 374 score at the Goddard Eisenhower Invitational Tuesday.
The tournament was played at the par-72 Auburn Hills Golf Course.
Maize South won the team title with a 307 score, followed by the Eisenhower varsity 317, Andover 228 and Augusta 367.
Eisenhower Blue, Maize South Black and the Buhler B team did not field full squads.
Eisenhower’s Luke Springer fired a 3-under-par 69 to claim first-place medalist honors.
Buhler’s Zach Chance and Jace Horning placed 19th and 20th 91s. Isaiah Heredia, Carter Stover and Carson Thibault pleaded 24th, 25th and 26th with scores of 96, 96 and 97.
Nick Chance fired a 99 for 30th place and Race Lusk finished in 32nd place with a 106.

Buhler JV golfers 2nd at home meet
The Buhler High School junior varsity boys gold team placed second at the Buhler Invitational Tuesday at the par-71 Hesston Golf Course.
Goddard Eisenhower clipped Buhler 348-353 to win the team title and Eisenhower’s Kaden Bailey claimed first-place medalist honors with an 82. Bailey edged out Buhler’s Gazaway, who placed second with an 83.
Goddard Eisenhower’s Tate Basham placed third with an 85.
Buhler’s Brennan Geilenfeldt and Talan Martin placed ninth and 10th with 88s.
Buhler’s Carter Harris placed 19th, 94; Kaisun Marcum 21st, 95; Crayton Erickson 28th, 98; Landon Wood 30th, 99; Landon Spence 40th, 103; Jackson Gehring 45th, 104; Mason Jones 50th, 106; Reed Goertzen 51st, 107; Fletcher Westfall 55th, 110; and Brody Leiker 60th, 114.
