The East Team claimed the title at the 2026 KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals  with an 85-70 win over the West Team March 28 at Fugate Gymnasium on the campus of Newman University in Wichita.

The biggest winners of the day though are the many children that will benefit from the money and awareness raised for Shriners Children’s at this year’s event.

Thanks to the 64 all-star wrestlers, coaches, family, friends, business supporters, corporate partners, volunteers, Shriners and KWCA representatives, the 2026 KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals raised $47,000 in net proceeds to benefit Shriners Children’s Hospitals.

Nickerson seniors Kristopher Monroe (165-pound boys) and Elizabeth Dick (235-pound girls) competed for the West Team.

165 — Kristopher Monroe (West/Nickerson) pinned Connor Hart (East/Olathe East) 5:23.

235 — Elizabeth Dick (West/Nickerson) decisioned Saryja Nelson (East/Leavenworth) 5-1.
