WICHITA, Kan. – The week opened up with more Tabor Softball, as the Bluejays made the short turnaround and made the trek back down to Wichita to take on Newman in the second meeting of the season between the two teams and their final venture into non-conference play.

- Xeanna Samifua hit herself a pair of two-run homers
- Reagan Hammons hit a two-run homer of her own in the 1st inning
- Samifua led the way offensively with four RBIs
- Marisa Carranza earned the win in the circle, throwing one strikeout
- Emily Hetherington also threw one strikeout in the win
