The Red Devils struck first in game one, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Ella McCammon crossed the plate on an RBI from Taylor Damme, and Andrea Ruby later scored on a single to left field by Kalyse Abernathy to give Allen a 2-0 lead.

Southwestern Iowa tied the game in the top of the second with a single and a sacrifice fly, but Allen quickly responded. The Red Devils plated three runs in the bottom half of the inning, highlighted by a double from Hope Sanchez and singles from McCammon, Addie Keys, and Damme, to take a 5-2 lead.

After two scoreless innings, Allen added insurance in the fifth. Makayla Hirschmann led off with a single, followed by a Sanchez double, and two RBIs brought both runners home to extend the lead to 7-2. The Reivers added one run in the sixth but could not close the gap as Allen secured the 7-3 win.

Ruby pitched a complete game for the Red Devils, finishing with three strikeouts.

Allen carried that momentum into game two. McCammon opened the scoring with a solo home run in the bottom of the first, while Keys and Abernathy each added doubles to help push the lead to 3-0 by the end of the inning.

McCammon added to her big day in the second inning with a two-run home run to left field, extending the advantage to 5-0.

Keys earned the win in the circle, throwing 84 pitches and recording two strikeouts while allowing just one run in the sixth inning. Allen went on to take game two, 5-1, to complete the sweep.

The Red Devils move to 7-16 on the season and will wrap up non-conference play March 26 at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. Allen will then open conference play March 28 at home against Fort Scott Community College, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
