Cabot, Ark. – The Central Christian Men’s and Women’s Golf teams traveled to Arkansas to play in the Central Baptist College Spring Invitational hosted by Central Baptist College on Monday and Tuesday.
On the Men’s side, the Tigers played 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. As a team, they posted rounds of 339, 332, and 313 for a two day total of 984. They finished 10th out of 14 teams. They were led by Peyton Benneweis as he compiled rounds of 80, 84 and 75 for a three round total of 239 where he placed 25th individually.

On the Women’s side, they played 18 on Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. They finished T3 as a team and were led by Joellen Vogt who finished 5th individually with rounds of 93 and 75 for a two round total of 168.

The Men will be back in acction on the 23rd and 24th of March at the Oakwood Intercollegiate in Enid, Oklahoma while the Women’s next tournament is the Lark Spring Invitational in early April.
