HUMBOLDT, Kan. — One person is dead and another in custody after a shooting late Sunday afternoon in Humboldt.
Information on the incident is sketchy but the victim, who was shot in the 1000 block of Sycamore, was taken to Allen County Regional Hospital where they later died.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office reported last night a suspect was apprehended by the Kansas Highway Patrol and is being held in the Allen County Jail.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has been brought into the case, and additional information on the incident is expected to be released later today.
