The Buhler High School boys basketball team dropped a 61-51 decision Thursday night at Augusta.
The Crusaders defeated the Orioles 38-30 Jan. 13 at Buhler.
The loss snapped Buhler’s winning streak at three games. Buhler now has a 13-10 record.
The Augusta Orioles pushed their record to 15-8 and have won six straight home games. Augusta won the AVCTL Division 3 championship with an 8-2 league mark. The Orioles won the league title for the first time in five years.
The Buhler girls improved to 11-12 with a 49-44 victory over Augusta, which dropped to 5-17. Buhler has won two straight games and the Orioles dropped five of their last six games.
Buhler defeated Augusta 36-33 on Jan. 13 at Jim Baker Fieldhouse at Buhler.
Kansas Class 4A sub-state play begins Tuesday.
