The Buhler High School boys swim team placed 17th at the Kansas Class 5-1A state swim meet Friday and Saturday at the Shawnee Mission School District Aquatic Center in Lenexa with 37 points.
Andover ran away with the Class 5-1A state title with 379.5 points.
Buhler senior Hudson DeWeese placed seventh in the 200-yard individual medley race with a time of 2 minutes, 5.99 seconds. He was 11th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.42 seconds.
Buhler senior Zachariah Greenlee placed 12th in diving with 290.40 points.
The Buhler 200-yard free relay team of seniors Eli White, Ty Campbell, Gabe Auxier and Ethan Maxfield placed 14th with a time of 1:37.32.
Buhler’s 400 free style relay team of Campbell, Auxier, Maxfield and White placed 13th with a time of 3:39.19.
