Wichita, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Indoor Track & Field teams travelled down I-135 South to Wichita, Kan. to participate in the Wichita State University Coach Wilson Invitational. This meet featured competition from all levels and places, including competitors from Canada.
Mercy Ynostrosa paced the Swedes with an eight-place finish in the Shot Put, while Jackson Montei-Wallace led the charge for the men’s team with a 6th place finish in the 1,000-meter run.

This was the final tune-up for the Swedes before the KCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships that is set from Friday, February 13, to Saturday, February 14. The meet will be in the same location, so the Swedes will have some familiarity with the track.
