United Way of Reno County Closes in on Campaign Goal

The United Way of Reno County is closing in on its campaign goal. To date, $1.156M has been raised and there is just under $200,000 left to raise.

A single donation of any amount goes to work across multiple programs in the community. 

Ways to Make an Impact:

Youth Opportunity Programs
  • 750 youth – After School & Summer Programs, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson
  • 600 students – Safe Dates Education, BrightHouse
  • 300 adults – Community Prevention & Education, BrightHouse
  • 29 families – Child Care Scholarship Program, Child Care Links
  • 300 infants & toddlers – Infant–Toddler Program, Early Education Center
  • 125 girls – Leadership Experience, Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland
  • 120 families – Early Childhood & Child Care, Hadley Day Care Center
  • 67 youth – One-to-One Mentoring, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters

Financial Security Programs
  • 113 individuals – Circles Reno County, Circles Reno County
  • 60 homeowners – Homeowner Repair & Rehabilitation, Interfaith Housing

  • 25 households – Kansas Individual Development Account Program, Interfaith Housing
