UPDATE: The Soft Lockdown has been lifted at Union Valley Elementary. The nearby threat has been resolved.
BUHLER, Kan. – December 19, 2025 – 8:08 a.m. – Union Valley has been informed of a nearby threat. In an abundance of caution, Union Valley is in a soft lockdown, which means students may move about the building but will not be going outside. No visitors or parents may enter the building while the threat is ongoing and the building is in a soft lock down.
We will keep you informed once the threat has been resolved. No students or staff are in danger as this is a proactive measure to keep our students safe.
