We’re filling the streets with festive fun from morning to night — from gingerbread decorating with Santa to horse-drawn carriage rides, downtown shopping, live theatre, family activities in Holiday Park, and the spectacular Light Up Hutch Christmas Parade. Gingerbread House Decorating, Santa, Carriage Rides

Kick off your day with one of Hutchinson’s sweetest traditions! Bring the kids to decorate their own gingerbread creations and snap a photo with Santa. Don’t forget to catch a ride in a horse drawn carriage. A perfect morning warm-up for a full day of festivities.

A Christmas Story – The Musical 

3 p.m. | Family Community Theatre, 310 N. Main

Spread The Light Holiday Park Pop Up

4 p.m. – 6 p.m. | DCI Park, 20 W 2nd Ave.

Presented by United Way of Reno County
Bring the whole family to Spread The Light Holiday Park for two hours of FREE hands-on holiday fun! With more than 11 interactive stations by local non-profits, kids and families can enjoy games, crafts, activities, and the community Giving Tree, celebrating the spirit of generosity this season.

Light Up Hutch Christmas Parade

6 p.m. | Main Street from Ave. B to 7th Ave.

Cap off the day with our grand finale! The annual Light Up Hutch Parade will illuminate Downtown Hutchinson with dazzling floats, twinkling lights, music, and festive cheer. A designated pedestrian only viewing area is established on Main Street between Ave. B and 3rd Ave for accessible and safe view of the parade. It’s the perfect ending to a perfect holiday day.
