HUTCHINSON, Kan. — At 3:40 p.m. the Hutchinson Fire Department was called to 719 E Avenue C for a garage fire. Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the garage. Crews made an aggressive interior attack on the garage where they found fire when opening the walk-through garage door. Crews worked quickly to get the fire under control. Crews remained on scene for a while to investigate and to clean up tools.
