Hutchinson Police Department Investigating Aggravated Battery Incident

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – On Monday, November 17th, 2025, at 7:46 PM, officers with the Hutchinson Police Department were dispatched to an address in the 1100 block West 19th Ave for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located one adult male with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. He was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) in stable condition and later released after being treated.

At 7:52 PM officers were dispatched to 19th Ave and Monroe Street where they located another adult male in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to HRMC in critical condition and later to St. Francis in Wichita.

The investigation remains active. Detectives are interviewing several individuals who were present during the shooting, as well as others with relevant information. No arrests have been made. Based on what we know at this time, there is no known current threat to the public.
