McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — Friday is National Manufacturing Day, which turns the spotlight on a major part of the area’s economy. Kasi Morales, executive director of McPherson Industrial Development Company, says they are partnering with National Manufacturing Day.
“We just want to make sure everybody in town and the region understands the types of employers we have in McPherson County,” Morales told Ad Astra News.
Manufacturers in McPherson and Moundridge have events planned. In Moundridge, The Bradbury Company is hosting an open house Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In McPherson, PEM will have an event Friday, which is National Manufacturing Day, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. while Viega has two sessions planned that day, the first from 9 until 11:30 a.m. and the second from 2-3 p.m.
