Reno County Sabres Score 93 Points in One Half, Routs Marmaton Valle

The Reno County Sabres Homeschool football team routed Marmaton Valley 93-38 Friday night in Moran.

The game ended at halftime on the KSHSAA’s 45-point rule.

Reno County is 4-0 and Marmaton Valley dropped to 3-1. The “road warrior” Sabres play at Colony-Crest next Friday.

The Sabres raced out to a 32-0 lead in the first 8 minutes and led 56-22 in the first quarter.

The Sabres ran just 32 offensive plays in the game for 374 yards (11.7 yards per play).

Reno County junior quarterback Bo Smith completed 5-of-9 passes for 107 yards and three touchdown passes. He also rushed for 146 yards on 13 carries with four more TDs.
