Products from firms in Galva, Garden Plain, and Hutchinson are among the ten finalists for the 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Kansas Competition. The contest sponsored by the Kansas Manufacturing Council highlights the innovation, Craftsmanship, and impact of Kansas-made products, from everyday essentials to cutting edge technology.
Finalists from the area include the Sidecut Saw from AST Solutions of Galva; Handy Hook, a Garden Plain based product used for glove donning by firefighters; and Consumer Brands Vehicle Fleet Graphics from Lowen Color Graphics in Hutchinson.
The first round of voting will begin Monday, Sept. 15 and run through National Manufacturing Day on Oct. 3. Votes can be cast and more information found at www.kansascool.com.
The final results will be announced on Oct. 28 during the Kansas Manufacturing Summit in Wichita.
