LINDSBORG, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Softball team and Head Coach Tyler Gunelson has announced the addition of Logan Martin to their coaching staff.

“Logan is a homerun hire for our program,” said Coach Gunelson. “She has been a part of some elite programs and worked for some of the best coaches around, so I am extremely excited for what she brings to the table! Coach Martin will work with the infielders and catchers as well as assist with hitting.”

Logan Martin is coming from Northwestern Oklahoma State University as their head of travel operations and field maintenance. While with the Rangers, Coach Martin coached four All-Conference athletes, eight NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes, and her teams have maintained a team GPA of 3.50 and above throughout her stay in Alva, Okla.

Prior to Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Logan had a yearlong stint at Seward County Community College maintaining their field. While there, her team was Region VI Tournament Runner-Ups. During that season, Coach Martin coached five KJCCC All-Conference players and 10 NJCAA Academic All-Americans.

“I am very excited to be the new assistant softball coach at Bethany College,” said newly-named Coach Martin. “I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this great program, support our athletes, and help continue to build a culture of growth, teamwork, and excellence for this team. I want to thank Coach Gunelson and the administration for this incredible opportunity!”

Logan Martin earned her Associates of Science Degree in May 2021, Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in May 2024, and her Master’s in Adult Education Management and Administration in July 2025.
