PRETTY PRARIE, Kan. (July 16, 2025) – Dusty Tacha, President of the Pretty Prairie Rodeo, and Justin Rumford came in this morning to talk about the largest night rodeo in the state.
Tonight through Saturday night, they will have a great show, featuring mutton bustin’, music, vendors, and all your favorite rodeo sports. Dusty says tickets are going fast, “Friday and Saturday night are sold out for the arena seats. On those two nights, we will have dance only tickets available at the Pretty Prairie ticket office starting about 9:30 each night. We’ll have a limited number of folks in for the after rodeo dance, which will be Prairie Smoke on Friday and Saturday night.” Justin highlighted some of the contributors to the event, noting some big names in the rodeo business. “We have Bennie Beutler and Rhett Beutler, the Beutler and Son Rodeo Company, which in four years will be one hundred years in the rodeo business, raising some of the best horses and bulls in Elk City, Oklahoma.”
