MARION COUNTY, Kan. — A Canton man has been found guilty of multiple sex crime charges in Marion County.
Matthew Dudte entered pleas Tuesday in Marion County District Court to aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties with a child and three counts of aggravated child endangerment involving incidents that took place between 2011 and 2020.
As part of a plea agreement 44 other counts, some of which dated back to 2009, were dismissed. There were at least four victims involved in the cases to which Dudte pleaded.
Sentencing has been set for September 23rd, and he faces an absolute minimum sentence of just over 12 years, actual sentence to depend on criminal history.
