A pair of high school boys soccer athletes will participate in the 2025 Kansas vs. Oklahoma High School Soccer Boys All-Star Game on July 19 in Wichita: Lucas Witt from Hutchinson and Manny Morales from McPherson.
Witt was an AVCTL Div. I 2nd Team All-League honoree 5A All-State Honorable Mention for the Salthawks. He was also an Ad Astra Radio Athlete of the Week honoree for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 6, 2024 after the Salthawk Defender had a stellar performance against Goddard. Hutchinson finished with an 11-4-2 record before falling in Regionals over Andover.
Morales earned first team honors from the 2024 season, including First Team All AVCTL Div. 3-4 and 4-1A First Team All-State as a midfielder in his junior year. The Bullpups had a 9-8-1 record in the 2024 season, falling to Wichita-Trinity Academy in Regionals.
The Kansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star games will be July 19 at Friends University in Wichita. The Boys game will start off at 5:00 p.m. and the Girls game will be at 7:15 p.m.
