The Salina League of Women Voters will host a candidate forum on Sunday, September 27, at Salina Area Technical College. The event starts at 2 p.m. and is open to the public at no cost.
Organizers have invited 32 candidates to take part in the forum that features a moderated format.
League members will lead the discussion, and questions will come from reporter Charlie Rankin, former Kansas Senator Randall Hardy, and members of the audience. This approach gives voters a chance to hear direct answers to important local issues.
Salina Tech students are helping assemble materials for the forum. Their involvement gives them hands-on experience and supports community engagement on campus.
The event is Sunday September, 27th in the auditorium at Salina Area Technical College, 2562 S. Centennial Road.
