An escaped inmate has been captured.
Saline County inmate Allen Marlow is back in custody after Salina police got a tip that he was hiding on East Iron Street. Officers took him in after a brief scuffle that injured a deputy’s knee; the deputy has since been released from the hospital.
Marlow now faces charges including aggravated escape from custody and battery of an officer.
He’s one of three Saline County inmates who’ve escaped treatment centers since May.
