Thaddeus was born on May 5, 1960, in Chanute, Kansas to Ronald and Glodine Clements. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Clements in 2022, his sister-in-law Paula Clements, and brother in laws Don Berthot, and Rick McDonald. He is survived by his mother Glodine Clements.
Thaddeus is also survived by his loving siblings: Marla Berthot Williamson of Florida, Ronda Severt Evenson of Chanute, Kansas, Teresa McDonald of Chanute, Kansas, Todd Clements of WaKeeney, Kansas, Melinda Cain of Chanute, Kansas. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Although Thaddeus was born in Chanute, he spent most of his adult life in Texas where he built a life centered around his work and formed many lasting friendships.
He valued hard work, independence and loyalty. Those who knew him appreciated his curiosity, his determination and his willingness to share stories and conversations.
Later in life Thaddeus returned to his hometown of Chanute. During his battle with pancreatic cancer, he faced each day with courage and determination. Through both good days and difficult ones, he remained thankful for the love and support of those who stood beside him and forgiving those who didn’t.
Thaddeus hoped that those who knew him would remember one simple lesson: don’t wait to tell people you love them. Spend time with your family and friends while you can because tomorrow is never promised.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, support, friendship and kindness throughout Thaddeus’s journey.
A celebration of Thaddeus’s life will be held later. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to a pancreatic cancer research organization or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Thaddeus M. Clements will be remembered with love and will deeply by missed by all who knew him.
