Terry Ray House, 73, passed away October 31, 2026, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1953, in Hutchinson to Ray Neal and Donna Joyce (Crawford) House.
Terry began his career at Tyson Foods when the company was still known as Doskocil. Throughout his more than 40 years of employment, he worked in various departments, dedicating many years of service to the company before retiring in 2013.
Terry was a true sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching just about any sport. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball and golf. Outside of sports, Terry had a special love for animals, and he always had a soft spot for an animal in need.
On September 5, 1975, he married Connie Sue Kite, in Hutchinson. They shared over 51 years of marriage.
Terry is survived by: his wife, Connie House; daughters, Kelli (Clint) Patterson, and Aimee (Jarred) Daniels; sisters, Betty Stinbrink and Linda (Alan) Roberts; grandchildren, Layne Patterson, Bryce Patterson, Kayleigh Hewitt, and Blake Hewitt; great-grandson, Langston Patterson, and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
