Teresa M. Jarvis
1960-2026

Teresa Marie Jarvis, 66, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Teresa was born on May 9, 1960, in Sterling, KS, the daughter of Melvin Loy and Dorothy Kay (Luce) Link. She graduated from El Dorado High School, Las Vegas, NV.

On January 13, 1979, Teresa was united in marriage to Jerry Jarvis in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was blessed with seven children: Jerry, Jr., Josh, Joe, Isaiah, Johnny, Cynthia, and Anthony.

Above all, Teresa treasured her role as a mother and grandmother, which brought her the greatest joy and was her proudest accomplishment. She especially loved the Christmas season and took great delight in spoiling her grandchildren and making the holidays special for those she loved. Her faith was an important part of her life, reflected in her devotion to Mass and Adoration. She also found fulfillment in visiting the elderly and, most of all, spending cherished time with her children and grandchildren.

Teresa was a selfless and caring woman who consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her generous heart, quiet devotion, and unconditional love for her family were defining qualities that touched the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for the many ways she gave of herself and for the love she shared so freely.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jerry; seven children, Jerry Jarvis, Jr. (Leanne Thomas), Josh Jarvis, Joe Jarvis (Samantha), Isaiah Jarvis, Johnny Jarvis (Haley), Cynthia Leach (Justin), and Anthony Jarvis (Brooke); siblings, Susan Jarvis (Butch), Tina Montroy (Calvin), and Justin Cable (Stacey); 20 grandchildren, Gage Jarvis, Seth Jarvis, Natalie Jarvis, Kirah Jarvis, Blake Jarvis, Blakley Jarvis, Christine Leach, Jude Jarvis, Lana Leach, Blaire Jarvis, Thatcher Jarvis, Kennedy Jarvis, Abraham Jarvis, Bennett Jarvis, Niall Leach, Cade Jarvis, Camryn Jarvis, Everett Leach, Wren Jarvis, and Magdalene Jarvis; three great-grandchildren, Aliyah Jarvis, Analiyah Jarvis, and Palmer Jarvis; and many extended relatives and friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cynthia Link.
