Ruth C. Wetta, 80, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, died October 13, 2026 surrounded by her husband and children.

Preceded in death by her parents Peter F. Ernst and Regina J. (Tauscher) Ernst; sister Lavera (Ernst) Stalnecker; brothers, Robert Ernst and Lee Roy Ernst.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, Louis W. Wetta; children, Michelle (John) Dandurand, Deann (Todd) Reichenberger, Jeff (Stacia) Wetta, Kim (Chris) Lane, Chad Wetta, Brian Wetta, Bonnie (Justin) Riley, Kami (Andy) Brand. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren, Makenna (Carson) Scott, Riley Dandurand, Ben Reichenberger, Cade Reichenberger, Alex Reichenberger, Caleb Wetta, Macy Wetta, Ethan Wetta, Kylee (Michael) Post, Carson Lane, Colt Lane, Gavin Riley, Katelyn Riley, Wyatt Brand, Haddi Brand, Maury Brand, and Ridge Brand; 3 great-grandchildren, Kaison Post, Kade Post and Violet Reichenberger; sisters, Jean Pfannenstiel Rozell, and Dorothy Werth.

Rosary will be on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM and the Catholic Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 10:30 AM, both at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Aleppo, 25741 W 13th St N, Garden Plain, Kansas.
