Poppy Tessa Ray Gobble
2023-2026

Poppy Tessa Ray Gobble, 3, passed away on October 9, 2026, in Wichita, KS. Poppy was born on June 19, 2023, in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Daniel and Janyssa (Phillips) Gobble.

Poppy was loved by all. Everywhere she went she put a smile on people’s faces. She went to school at the Early Education Center where her peers and teachers loved her. At home she was always smiling and loved to snack on anything her Auntie Bay was snacking on.

Her best friend and cousin Willow and her always enjoyed going on girl trips with mom and Auntie Bay, where they would rock out to their favorite music and feel the wind in their face. Poppy was a very active girl and loved life. She will be missed by so many people.

Poppy is proceeded in death by her grandparents, James Phillips, Julie Gobble; great grandma, Karen Gregg; uncles, Kristopher Gobble and Charles Mendenhall.

She is survived by her father, Daniel Gobble; mother, Janyssa Gobble; siblings, Kenneth, Lynette, Timothy, and Magnus Gobble; grandparents, Joseph Gobble, Katherine Mendenhall; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Poppy will be announced at a later date. To help the family with expenses, memorial contributions can be made out to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel and can be mailed to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
