Lori Anne Rauch, 57, of Little River, Kansas, passed away surrounded by her family on December 14, 2025, at Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born October 17, 1968, in Lyons, Kansas, the daughter of Gene Edward and Edra Jean “Jeanne” (Moss) Deeds. Lori was a near lifelong Little River resident. She graduated from Little River High School, with the class of 1987, and later attended Hutchinson Community College. Lori worked at Rice County Council on Aging for many years; as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in McPherson; was a writer for Sterling Services in Sterling; and was the office manager for the First Presbyterian Church, Lyons for more than sixteen years. Lori enjoyed traveling, reading and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. On November 20, 1999, Lori was united in marriage with Marvin Rauch Jr. in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lori is survived by her husband, Marvin Rauch Jr. of Little River, KS; three children, Shanda Rauch and significant other Cambry Moddelmog of Little River, KS, Rebecca Rauch and significant other T.J. Bales of McPherson, KS, and Rene Matuse and husband Kelly of Hesston, KS; brother, Doug Deeds and wife Rita of Little River, KS; two sisters, Joni Briggs and husband Bryan of Windom, KS, and Trudy Schmidt of Rose Hill, KS; and thirteen grandchildren, Kie, Adrianna, Evelyn, Ria, Hayden, Gwendolyn, Katelyn, Audrey, Samantha, Gunnar, Halie, Everly, and Mazli. Lori is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Emmylee Strong; and brother-in-law, Joel Schmidt. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
