Linda K. HubinJetmore, KS

Linda K. Hubin, 75, passed away November 5, 2026 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

She was born May 22, 1951 in Spearville, Kansas; the daughter of Melvin and Katy Jones. A lifetime area resident, she worked for and retired from USDA Farm Services.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hanston and the American Legion Auxiliary. Linda was very active in her church and many community events, always willing to lend a hand and help where she was best needed. Linda enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, going to ballgames with her brother, and was an avid Royals fan.

She married John (Johnny) A. Hubin, they later divorced. He passed away September 8, 2018.

Survivors include; son, Josh (Jamie) Hubin, McPherson; daughter, Bonnie (Jarrett) Slaton, Goodyear, Arizona; two brothers, Fred Gilliam, Jetmore and Dennis (Lorraine) Jones, Harvest, Alabama; a sister, Patty Jones, Independence, Kansas; five grandchildren, Jordan Slaton, Brittanie Slaton, Brooklyn Slaton, Baker Hubin and Emery Hubin and her beloved nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by; her parents; daughter, JoLynn Hubin and a grandchild, Jaris Slaton.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2026 at First Baptist Church, Hanston with Pastor Stan Ewy and family friend, Ron Ruff presiding. Visitation will be 1-8p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore with family present from 3-5 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore, Kansas.
