Kathy Damme

Kathy Damme, 74, passed away at her home December 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born to Ralph and Frieda Curley Holaday on August 8, 1951, in St. Joseph, MO.

Kathy attended school in St. Joseph, MO.  On September 6, 1988, she married Howard Damme.  They celebrated 37 years of marriage.

Kathy enjoyed doing many types of crafts, camping in Colorado, participating in TOPS group and Eastern Star, playing bingo and bunco, doing embroidery, and having a glass or two of wine or margaritas.

She is survived by her: husband, Howard; children; Ralph McFarland (Mandy) of Hutchinson, Angela Brazau (John) of Cocoa Beach, FL, and JB McFarland (Windy) of Ozarks, MO; father, Ralph Holaday (Litchia) of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Johny McFarland (Kaitlin Weninger), Kathleen Clark (Josh), Brandy Ukele (Corey), Blayze Showalter, Bryce Showalter, Brandon Showalter (Brittany), and Zane Damme; and several great-grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her: mother, Frieda; grandson Blake Showalter; and in-laws.

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cancer Council of Reno County in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
