Joyce June Moore, 83, of Alden, Kansas, passed away November 20, 2025, at the Sterling Village, Sterling, Kansas. She was born September 10, 1942, in Racine, Missouri, the daughter of Frederick Jr. and Roxie (Blackston) Spencer. Joyce has resided in Alden for the past 60 years, formerly of Sterling. She graduated from Monet High School, Monet, Missouri, with the class of 1960. Joyce worked in maintenance at TC Energy and the Presbyterian Manor (Sterling Village), and various other jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, and being outside. On March 11, 1963, Joyce was united in marriage with Clifford “Zeke” Moore in Sterling. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2015. She is also preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Leonard “Buster” Wood, Harlan Enlow, Pauline Dickey, and Jr. Spencer. Joyce is survived her son, Cliff “Sonny” Moore and wife Cindy of Sterling, KS; daughter, Francis “Sissy” Weaver and husband Don of Alden, KS; two brothers, Bob Enlow and wife MaryAnn of Beaver Creek, OH, and Don Green of Sterling, KS; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling, with Pastor Rob Bolton officiating. The family suggests if you have Kansas City Chiefs attire to wear it to the funeral. A private family burial will be at the Alden Valley Cemetery, Alden, at a later date. Memorials may be given to Gentiva Hospice in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
