Deana Ruth (Rooster) Foster, age 76, of Iola, Kansas, passed away November 23, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital - Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. Deana was born December 23, 1948, in Joplin, Missouri, to Dean Michael and Marian (Hurlock) Michael.

Deana graduated in 1966 from Iola High School. She worked as a printer for Herff-Jones in Iola.

Deana and Christopher Allen Foster were married in Iola, Kansas.

Deana enjoyed collecting Precious Moments. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Deana was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chris; grandson, Raiden Colborn; brothers, Craig Michael, Scott Michael; and sister-in-law, Tricia Michael.

Deana is survived by her children, Kerri Colborn, Brett (Asia) Foster; grandchildren, Trey (Gabby) Colborn, Matty (Jadynn Young) Colborn, Baylen Foster; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Colborn, Railynn Colborn, Ruthie Colborn, Aaliyah Colborn, Atlas Colborn, sister, Marty Michael, Jill (Mark) Lynn; brothers, Bruce Michael, Jeff (Vannesa) Michael; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the chapel at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
