David Lee Darrough, 82, retired APWU president, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born April 15, 1943 in Shidler, Oklahoma.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; mother, Wanda Richardson; infant son, David Lee Darrough Jr; sister, Wanda Gaskill; nephew, James Gaskill.  Survivors include his children, Tammy Darrough, David (Maranda) Darrough, Deborah (Andy) Mullins, Kevin (Rachel) Darrough, and Gregory Darrough; brother, Paul Richardson; brothers-in-law, Jim Gaskill and Jerry (Barbara) Kempenich; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be 4-7pm, Friday, November 21, 2025, Wulf-Ast Mortuary Chapel, 120 N. King, Mt. Hope, KS.  Graveside service: 1pm Saturday, November 22, Kaw City Cemetery, Kaw, Oklahoma.
