1935-2025
Anita May Warden, 90, passed away November 18, 2025 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.
She was born May 11, 1935 in Jetmore, the daughter of Francis Harold and Gladys Marie Pittaway Church. A lifetime area resident, she was an Abstracter for a Title Insurance Company.
She was a member of the Jetmore Methodist Church, Jetmore Methodist Women, and enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, reading, listening to music and putting puzzles together.
On October 8, 1954, she married Bobby “Bob” Lee Warden in Raton, New Mexico. He passed away March 28, 2009.
Survivors include: a son, Matthew N. Warden, Foresthill, CA; two daughters, Beverly M. (Patrick) Mariche, Dodge City and Glenna M. (Robert) Diggle, Buckeye, AZ; two brothers, Daniel D. (Trecia) Church, Bella Vista, AR and Edwin J. Church, Kansas City, KS. six grandchildren, Micheal Shane Mariche, Robert (Robynn) Mariche, Joshua (Tegan) Mariche, Jade Johnston, Nicole Warden, Calin Warden; twelve great grandchildren, Zoe (Luke) Haas, Ashley Mariche, Michael Mariche, Chloe Mariche, Natalee Mariche, Carter Mariche, Drake Mariche, Olivia Mariche, Mikayla Warden, Ellie Warden, Daisy Warden, Rylin Warden.
She was preceded in death by her son, Doyle L. Warden and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Church.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Jetmore Methodist Church, with Pastor Maria Grimm presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
