Hutchinson, Kan. – Central Christian College of Kansas Cross Country opened their season at the 11th annual Terry Masterson Twilight Classic hosted by Hutchinson Community College.
The Tigers were represented by Dalvontrey Thomas, a freshman from Sedgewick, Kansas. This race marks Thomas’ first collegiate cross country race.
Thomas finished with a time of 35:21.4 and this would put him in 59th-place. On the team side, Hutchinson won the men’s team competition with 17 points, followed by Kansas Wesleyan (60), Dodge City (79), Garden City (83), Tabor (117), Coffeyville (128), and Pratt (191).

The Tigers will now turn their attention to the JK Gold Classic in Wichita, Kan. on September 5th.
