Swedes Split with Falcons

Lindsborg, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams hosted the Friends University Falcons in the final match of the three-match home series.

The women would surrender the doubles point as the Falcons won two of the three matches. The duo of Karee Adam and Elise Richardson in the #3 doubles spot won their match 6-1.

The men would take the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Both the #2 (Dylan Gwilt / Diego Bsereni) and #3 (Martin Priban / Santiago Stipanov) pairings would win their matches 6-2.

For the singles matches, the women would split them down the middle 3-3. The #3 Makenna Russom would complete a comeback winning her match 0-6, 6-4, 4-1. Elise Richardson (#5) would win her match 6-0, 7-5 and Karee Adam (#6) would win her match 6-4, 6-4.

On the men’s side, the #2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 would all handle business cruising to a total set score of 60-24.
