Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Bethany College Men’s Golf team took the road down to Oklahoma City, Okla. to partake in the Southwestern Christian University Fall Invitational hosted by Southwestern Christian University.
As a team, the Swedes placed 8th, but had a very strong result by Aiden Lynch. Lynch placed T10 overall with a score of 220 (7 over) while shooting rounds of 78, 71, and 71, respectively. Freshmen Leonard Cziesla and Austin Russ would deliver solid performances in their debuts. Cziesla finished T20 shooting a 225 (12 over). Russ placed T36 with a score of 230 (17 over). The results of the Swedes got rounded up by Taylor Hardin and Ollie Christopher. Both finished tied for 52nd with a score of 243 (30 over).
Overall, the Swedes had an improved third round performance shooting 10 over as a team.
