Daytona Beach, Fl. – The Bulldogs took the stage at the NCA College Nationals on Thursday and Saturday, finishing fourth in the Spirit Rally Division.
McPherson opened the competition on Thursday with a 72.90 in the preliminary round, but a 0.75 deduction brought their final score to 72.15
The Bulldogs bounced back in a big way during Saturday’s finals, improving their score to a 78.80 with zero deductions, good for third place in the round.
After the final event scores were tallied, McPherson secured a fourth-place overall finish with a 77.14, coming just one point shy of Waldorf University who place third in the finals.
This concludes the season for McPherson Cheer after multiple record-breaking performances led by Toni Snyder in his first season as head coach. With a great foundation set, the sky is the limit for this program in the years to come.
