FREMONT HILLS, Mo. — The Hesston College men’s golf team turned in a strong performance at the Evangel Fremont Hills Classic on April 13-14, finishing fifth out of 13 teams with a team score of +60.
Vilde Dahlberg (Fr., Växjö, Sweden) led the way for the Larks with an impressive third-place finish, shooting +6 over the tournament. Dahlberg stayed consistent throughout the event and positioned himself among the top competitors in the field.
Max Laser Edin (Fr., Stockholm, Sweden) followed with a 23rd-place finish at +14, while Liam Leikeryd (Fr., Gothenburg, Sweden) placed 29th with a +16. Sondre Einarsrud (Fr., Holter, Norway) added a 35th-place finish with a +19.
Logan Lam (Fr., Wichita, Kan.) finished 40th at +21, and both Kory Meireis (Fr., Kingman, Kan.) and Hugo Von Sicard (Fr., Sundsvall, Sweden) tied for 42nd with scores of +24.
The Larks will return to action at the CAC Conference Tournament in Hobbs, New Mexico, April 27-29.
