BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Bluejay Women’s Soccer made the trip to Baldwin City on Saturday evening to take on Baker. The Bluejays entered the match after falling to Texas Wesleyan in their season-opener on Wednesday.
The match proved to be a defensive battle, with Tabor taking eight total shots (four shots on goal) and Baker taking five total shots (four shots on goal). The Wildcats broke the stalemate at the 68′ mark, scoring the only goal of the match.
With the loss, the Bluejays fall to 0-2 on the season.
Tabor returns to action on Wednesday as the Bluejays play host to local rival Hesston at 5:00pm.
