HILLSBORO, Kan. – Wednesday evening saw the return of Bluejay Volleyball to Tabor College Gymnasium as the team played host to Hesston. The Bluejays entered the match fresh off a perfect 3-0 weekend at the Haskell Invite.
Tabor had no problem dispatching the Larks in straight sets (25-15, 25-12, 25-18), cruising to their fourth straight win and fifth win on the season. Wednesday’s win gives Tabor a 5-4 advantage in the all-time series.
Esther Nederveen and Ringzley Ratzlaff finished in double figures with Nederveen recording 12 kills, and Ratzlaff finishing with 10. Jaci Maxfield led the way with four service aces, while E. Nederveen finished with three total blocks. On the defensive side of things, Camila Mendes Toledo recorded 11 digs, while Josephine Fuamatu also finished in double figures with 10. Annerieke Nederveen added 30 more assists to her season total in the win.
The Bluejays return to action on Saturday, September 19th as they head down to Bartlesville, Okla. to take on Mission in a neutral site contest.
