One person is in custody after a five-hour armed standoff with police early Sunday in Newton.
Officers say the incident involved a suspect wanted in a domestic violence case. Residents nearby were told to shelter in place until police ended the standoff. Both the victim and the suspect are unharmed.
Law enforcement is serving search warrants.
