COLBY, Kan. – Leading their teams to wins in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Division 1 Men’s Soccer play, Coffeyville Community College forward Lev Ivanytskyy and Barton Community College goalkeeper Pedro Lisboa have each been named the KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Week 5 Players of the Week.
Lev Ivanytskyy (Coffeyville) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Ivanytskyy put together an unforgettable performance for the Red Ravens in a home victory over Seward County, finishing with a hat trick and an assist for a total of seven points in a 6-1 victory over the Saints. The hat trick was Ivanytskyy’s first of his career while helping Coffeyville pick up its first KJCCC win of the season.
Pedro Lisboa (Barton) – KJCCC D1 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Three seconds separated Pedro Lisboa from a pair of clean sheets this past week in helping number six-ranked Barton post a pair of conference victories. Across 180 minutes, Lisboa recorded seven saves as the Cougars took down Coffeyville 1-0 at home before earning a 4-1 road win at Dodge City. Lisboa opened the week by stopping all six shots on frame in Wednesday’s 1-0 shutout victory over Coffeyville. The sophomore nearly completed a second clean sheet Sunday at Dodge City, keeping the Conquistadors off the board for 89:57 before a chipped-in shot with three seconds remaining spoiled the shutout in Barton’s 4-1 road victory.
